The rescue is passive. This means that the rescuer carries out the rescue from a secured position and abseils down to the casualty. The abseiling rescue device is used to lift the casualty, who is then unhooked from the fall arrest system and lowered using the automatic abseiling function. To take over the casualty, the rope of the rescue device can be connected directly to a harness eyelet or connected to the fall arrest system using the rescue clamps supplied
