The ASS-1 boom arm is a transportable anchorage device for 2 people. It is used in combination with the HRA self-retracting lifeline, the ABS 3a or 4 descender, the IKLW 300 winch and the PLW passenger winch. Other systems such as small self-retracting lifelines or energy absorbers including lanyards can also be attached to the side stop eye.

The ASS-2 has been specially developed for use on vehicle loading areas. This means that several boarding points can be quickly approached by the vehicle without the need for conversion. For this purpose, work lights and an electric load winch can also be used, which are integrated into the vehicle's electrical system.

The ASS-3 was specially developed for rescue measures where the injured person must be accompanied by the rescuer. In this case, a 2nd HRA device can be installed on the boom arm (one HRA on the mast and an HRA on the rear end of the boom).

The ASS-4 is specifically designed for rescue operations from rooftops or elevated locations where the injured person needs to be swung over a railing. Due to the high design, the injured person can easily be lifted over obstacles and then swivelled out of the danger area.

The ASS-M has been specially developed for entry into containers and silos, where it can be connected to existing perforated flanges. It is screwed to the perforated flange of the container or silo and then a person can descend safely. The ASS-M boom arm is used where more frequent work intervals are required and must be processed quickly.
