The DSD PLUS is a self-braking abseiling device with an anti-panic lock and allows the user to abseil from an elevated location at a limited speed, either by themselves or with the help of another person. DSD Plus is also used in rope access and positioning procedures as a rope adjustment device. It can be used in emergency abseiling sets for self-rescue (evacuation) from high-altitude workplaces such as work platforms or high-bay stackers. The DSD PLUS is made of aluminum with a rubberized handle. It has a wear indicator and can withstand very high loads.
