HyperTEN+ is a thermally pre-stretched high-end fiber rope made of original Dyneema® SK78 fibers. It is mainly used in industrial applications that require the highest breaking forces, resistance to bending fatigue and the lowest elongation at low weight. In addition to very low weight, this superlative fibre rope offers maximum breaking strength and reduced UHMWPE-typical creep properties.

When looking for particularly high-performing ropes, one automatically thinks of steel wire ropes. But now we have STS – Stronger Than Steel®. Conceived and constructed by TEUFELBERGER’s development team, this fiber rope is not only much lighter than a steel wire rope, but also much more effective. This is made possible by a combination of high-tech fibers, an optimized rope design, and an innovative pre-stretching process. This process lends highest breaking forces to the rope that, combined with minimal weight and diameter, make it ideally suited for a variety of industrial applications. HyperTEN+ is available with a PES cover, which impresses with maximum resistance to bending cycles.

HyperTEN+ is of course specifically adapted to your application. Individual end connections such as

  • Splice with or without plastic, steel, stainless steel or tubular thimble,

  • End bond,

  • Stitching,

  • Swaging,

  • Tapered end and

  • [Slaice]®

are the perfect link between the rope and your attachment point.

HyperTEN+ offers the following advantages and features:

  • Made of original Dyneema® SK78 fiber

  • 1/7 of the weight of comparable steel ropes

  • Highest possible breaking strength - higher than almost all steel ropes on the market with the same diameter

  • No corrosion or contamination by rope grease

  • Reduced risk of injury, easy and quick handling

  • Flexible design

  • Reduced UHMWPE-typical creep

  • Completely abrasion resistant due to very smooth surface, especially when provided with a cover

  • Very low initial and working stretch (already eliminated during the production process)

  • Features highest flexural fatigue strength and extremely long lifetime – compared to the standard fiber, the XBO variant offers 300 - 400 % more lifetime in terms of bending cycles

  • Highest running smoothness thanks to the extremely compact cross-section that is very stable under transverse pressure

  • The kinetic energy unleashed when damage to the rope occurs is significantly lower than with steel wire ropes
