HyperTEN is our thermally pre-stretched high-end fiber rope for the highest technical demands and is ideal as a steel rope replacement. HyperTEN is a high-strength, stable and extremely low-stretch fiber rope. It is made of UHMWPE fibers and is manufactured with a PES cover. The combination of optimized rope construction and thermal stretching guarantees an optimal degree of utilization of the available fiber properties as well as an extremely compact and stable, closed rope structure. Extremely high breaking forces above the level of a steel rope with corresponding abrasion resistance usually allow a 1:1 substitution with the same diameter (incl. protective sheath!) without conversion or adaptation of the periphery - and that at only 1/7 of the weight.
HyperTEN+ is optionally available as a XBO variant, which impresses with maximum resistance to bending cycles. HyperTEN is of course specifically adapted to your application. Individual end connections such as
Splice incl. or excl. plastic, steel, stainless steel or tubular thimble,
potting end piece,
sewing,
Pressure grouting
tapered end and
[Slaice] ®
are the perfect link between the rope and your connection point.
The advantages of HyperTEN are:
1/7 of the weight of comparable steel wire ropes Extremely high breaking force – higher than most steel wire ropes of the same diameter on the market
No corrosion or contamination by rope grease
No risk of injury, easy and fast handling
Flexible design
Extremely abrasion-resistant due to smooth surface, especially with sheath
Highest bending fatigue resistance and extremely long service life
In the event of rope damage, much less kinetic energy is released than with steel ropes
Lowest initial and working elongation (already eliminated during the production process)
