The SUPERPLASMA PL is used for work at heights. It provides optimal protection against top, rear and front impacts, as well as lateral deformation and protection against penetration of objects. The 4-point textile suspension ensures the best possible wearing comfort and with the adjustment wheel, the SUPERPLASMA PL can be optimally adapted to any head size. The chin strap opens at a load of at least 50 kg and has a small plastic ring to attach the helmet to the strap. The SUPERPLASMA PL has 10 ventilation slots to ensure pleasant air circulation even in summer temperatures. The inner padding is removable and washable. The helmet has fastening clips for headlamps and can be equipped with a wide range of accessories. More colors available on request!
Information on the different standards:
The biggest difference between EN 397 and EN 12492 lies in the different design of the chin straps with quick release buckle. Helmets according to EN 397 open at max. 25 daN and helmets according to EN 12492 open from 50 daN. The reason for this lies in the various sources of danger. Industrial safety helmets (EN397) must allow the user to pull out the head in case of risk of jamming. Mountain sports helmets (EN12492) should remain on the head even if they are hit several times by pendulum movement (occurs in the event of a fall). A risk analysis must be carried out to determine which danger is greater and the helmet must be selected accordingly. Otherwise, the test criteria of the two standards are relatively the same.
