Action procedure

  • Checking the equipment on the client's premises, with the help of equipped mobile workshops or at Teci's Castegnato (Brescia) plant.

  • Census and inspection of equipment according to the current norm, internal quality procedures, and the manufacturer's instructions.

  • In case of doubt as to the conformity status of equipment, that cannot be ascertained visually and dimensionally, more in-depth tests are carried out (e.g. NDT).

  • After conformity of the equipment has been checked, it is coded in a way that cannot be removed, indicating its suitability for use.

  • If defects or non-conformity are found in the equipment, they are photographed and included in the technical inspection report, which is issued to the client on completion of every inspection. 

What other inspection services do we offer?

  • Quarterly checking of all lifting cables installed.

  • Cleaning and re-greasing of cables, using a patented system, on the spot, on board the machine.

  • Ten / twenty year checking of structural efficiency, the state of welds, and the entire structure of the overhead crane, port crane, etc.

  • Periodical checking of special lifting equipment (e.g. C hooks for lifting packs, electro-hydraulic clamps, special inside gripping pincers, etc.).

  • Checking of welding and ferro-magnetic details using non-destructive tests (NDT).

  • Periodical checking of permanent magnets for lifting.

  • Checking of electric and manual winches.

  • Periodical checking of category 3 PPE (fall-prevention systems, life lines, etc.)

  • Checking stairs according to current norms.
