Supervision and installation of all types of cable, throughout the world, using our own equipment and/or working with important companies in the sector, ensuring that the correct equipment, technical know-how, and experience are used.
Visual inspection and evaluation of the state of the cable
Cables are consumable items with a limited lifespan. During its working life, the cable's physical characteristics change. For the safety of people and/or the system, it is important that a competent technician evaluates the condition of the cable from time to time.
Magneto-inductive testing
Using our own equipment and/or collaborating with important companies in the sector, magneto-inductive tests are carried out on cables to detect possible breaks as well as corrosion of the cable's external and/or internal strands. After the test, an official test report is issued that proofs the general condition of the cable, the strands, and an assessment of the suitability for safety and the eventual measures required to correct any damage detected.
Rope maintenance
Cleaning and re-lubrication of cables are useful in order to:
Extend the working lifespan of the cable.
Reduce the percentage possibility of a number of strands breaking.
Increase protection against corrosion.
Reduce the friction coefficient between strands and the strands.
Evaluation of samples of ropes taken out of installations
Our specialist laboratories are to carry out the following processes:
Checking the outside and inside state of the cable.
Checking the degree of external and internal lubrication.
Checking the residual quantity of the protective coating on the strands.
Checking the dimensions, diameter and length of lay.
Checking the mechanical characteristics of strands: traction, bending, torsion, micrographics and chemical analysis.
Evaluation of the "Actual Calculated breaking force (sum of the single wires actual breaking force)".
Application of the breaking load.
Final report and analysis of causes of deterioration.
